Born and educated in HK, after graduated from the Baptist University in Hong Kong, Jason Wang has finished his further study at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under the tutelage of Mr Maciek Walicki and Pieter Wyckoff. 

Jason has performed with the SAR Philharmonic orchestra and the Global symphony orchestra as bass trombonist. He has participated in various performances and projects including Hong Kong Arts Festival programs: "Matsukaze", "Hong Kong Odyssey", "Datong - the Chinese Utopia" london tour, joint concert with Viener Symphoniker, the "Slide Factory 2009", SliderAsia and the Jeju international brass festival etc. He is also a freelance player in Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Wenzhou symphony orchestra.

Besides public performances, Jason was selected to attend various master classes which include Don Locus, Christian Lindberg , Graeme Hutchler, Buron Fulcher, Domingo Paglouca, Unai Urrecho, Jorgen van Rijen, Brandt Attema.

Furthermore, Jason devotes himself in music education and promotion of brass music. The school he teaches and coaches including Raimondi College, Wah Yan College Hong Kong, True Light Middle School Of Hong Kong(primary Section), Canadian International School of Hong Kong, Victoria Shanghai Academy, Kowloon tong School etc.
